Are US visa appointments currently open in India?
Yes — US visa appointment scheduling is open in India for OFC biometrics and Consular interviews across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. What varies is how far out the earliest available date is; wait times move constantly as slots are booked, cancelled and re-released.
Because availability changes throughout the day, the date shown at any moment is not the earliest you can actually get — earlier slots keep opening up. Monitoring is how you catch them.
